Jonas Brothers 'Lovebug' Runs Away With Most Epic VMA Moment
In truth, we didn't make it easy, as each one of the Most Epic Moment nominees have left indelible marks on our storied VMA history. Fierce competition or none, there was a clear winner in this contest: the Jonas Brothers' 2008 performance of "Lovebug." The boy band's die-hard fans definitely made their voices heard and helped the JoBros run away with this award. It is almost as if we can still hear their enthusiastic screams over the boys' memorable debut of their single, which was staged on Paramount's New York City backlot among throngs of screaming fans.
In second place is one of the most impressive technical feats in VMA history, Pink's aerial acrobatics put on display for her performance of "Sober" in 2009. The memorable risk-taker will be gracing the VMA stage for a fourth time as a performer, and we can't wait to see what she'll do this year. Third place goes to another unforgettable and fierce female, Beyoncé, for her show-stopping performance of "Love on Top" and the joyful, unexpected and deeply moving announcement that came along with it.
The 2012 MTV Video Music Awards were a blast! Stick with MTV for all the VMA winners, fashion, and continued coverage of everything that happened onstage, backstage and behind-the-scenes.
